Every July thousands of people cover themselves in mineral-rich mud and wrestle, slide and dance here at the Boryeong Mud Festival.
Local tipOutside festival season it's a long, calm beach with big sunsets over the West Sea.
Getting thereTrain to Daecheon Station, then about 15 min by bus or taxi.
